that is right, fools. tonight the professor and i embark on a cross-country tour via train. this is a first for me. we even have a sleeper car! it is funny to be so excited to sleep in such a small room with a fold-down bed. but i am. i will take lots of pictures. you will wring your hands with jealousy. wring away friends!

kicking summertime in the face

Hi friends. It has been a busy summer for me. Key in my distractions: Professor Romance! That’s right, friends, he is visiting me for the whole summer. who can sit still in a computer lab when you have the Professor in your presence? Not I.

So let’s catch up!
My first year of grad school is over. I was accepted into a regional exhibition and have been applying to exhibitions here and there, but I have been taking a break from the studio. I am planning to get back to work soon, but it has been a nice to get away for a while. I recently became the co-director of an art and performance space. If you are interested in having an exhibition or concert, I am the lady to talk to. I have so many creative friends…

What else has been done with my summer? Lots of barbeques and outdoor expeditions. Kayaking, quarry exploring, national park hiking, ancient cemetery exploration, food festivals. Tonight we will bbq on a rooftop with some friends.

We took a road trip to visit our friends at teenage fashion show. Fabulous fun was had by all, but especially Bartelby:
