adorable freaks

oddly enough, in two days i have seen three freak cats. yesterday, the cat i saw had a stump for a tail and when it was trying to balance or when it was irritated it wagged it like a dog. today, i saw ANOTHER seperate and unrelated cat with a stump for a tail. it let me grab its stump tail and did not seem to mind. at this same house i saw a cat with 4 or so extra digits on each paw, so its paddle-esque paws appeared to have thumbs. i liked thinking about all of the mischief this cat might get into with those opposable thumbs not the least of which would involve tampering with the prescriptions in master's bathroom cabinet and giving organ lessons. i learned that these cats are called polydactl cats and i was told that ernest hemmingway had an island of them. tonight when i got home i looked them up on wiki and it looks like the hemmingway bit wasn't a joke.

the photos there are nothing. the cat i saw tonight had ping pong paddles for paws. this photo i found online better illustrates how weird these things look. i want a stump tailed cat. a fat one.

damn. today i saw a squirrel with a stubtail and later someone brought up the subject of manxes (cats that naturally own stubtails) what the hell is going on. all signs point to nub.
That's it, I'm going to have surgery on my tail and make it a stump. I'm such a slave to fashion...
yeah, if i was superstitious i would worry about losing a toe or something. i was thinking about getting a haircut... maybe all of these are signs i need to make the appointment or the world will make it for me.
It is clear to me what's going on here. You have obviously been chosen as the next Dalai Lama.
