HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

today is my man's birthday. this gag goes out to him:

and this:

other than that, i have been in a pretty pissed off mood constantly. my computer has not worked well. it is in the shop right now. i had a blog i was writing, but it is on the desktop of that computer. it mostly was about how frustrated i have been with apple, the quality of product and the customer service, but i think the fact that i can't publish that blog because it is on my broken, waiting for parts, not even two months old compubot speaks for that. i am trying not to type fuck so much. but fuck.

school is back in session. i can't get out of my summer mindset, i don't want to do much. where is my passion? i painted tonight and i am getting some work done. but i am tired and just want to go home and make myself a drink. i thought i would take a quick break to check my email in the student lab. (see, cause i can't do that at home anymore.) but i don't think i'll get too many more hours in today. i already but in 5 or 6, and i'll be in there all weekend. i found some amazing children's poems on the back of some fax sheets at work, i will scan them and post them once i have a laptop again. they cheer me up. i have been working a ton on the website of the gallery i am running. it looks good, if you are my friend and want the address you should write me for it sometime. i am proud of it.

man this blog is so worthless. and someone who fucking reeks just sat behind me. jeebus. let's end this on an upnote.

i know i already posted this photo before, but this little guy always makes me so very, very happy. i wish i could take this snuggler home.

Great cartoons! That Hagin is always on target, and the bear crayon drawing was great. Art school sure has improved your work!

Air Wolf is right about your art skill development. I am guessing that the level of improvement is directly proportional to the amount of time you spend in class critiquing possible ideas for beautification and love. Perhaps that professor is on to something.

(Ahem. Guess I finally broke down. Ahem. Sorry, something in my throat too.)

I would like to comment that I love the word "gag" (when used in the context of jests, not in the context of choking), and in the book I'm reading right now several mentions have been made of "gagmen" who wrote the routines for silent comedy films.
